Woodley Gardens Pool has been a neighborhood favorite for generations where kids learn to swim, the Woodley Waves compete, and neighbors become friends.
We are rallying the community and local businesses to finance the renovation of the pool house and pool. Our next goal is the final 50 founding members to prepare to reopen in 2027.

âś… Lease secured
We’ve secured a 50-year summer season lease at 860 Nelson Street — starting May 2027 for 2 years with an option to extend for 48 more.
âś… No rent
There will be no rent for the life of the 50 year lease. Instead, the community’s investment will go toward rebuilding the pool house and building a new outdoor pool.
âś… Funds to Begin
In just a few weeks we reached 150 founding members! Their commitment unlocks a $200,000 lead donation, setting the next phase of Woodley’s revival into motion. There are 50 founding member spots left — pledge your commitment today or learn more.
This pool is more than a place to swim — it’s the heart of our neighborhood. If members step up to support the 2027 season, this deal will help keep the pool a vital community gathering place for the next fifty years.
